Happy New Year and the grey screen of death

Expectations for 2009? I had none. Now it doesn’t seem that good. So CNY wasnt too bad. It was pretty normal I guess. With the added bonus of getting to play Mahjong and also getting the much sought after Leopard upgrade and CS3 CDs. So in my joy, I went back, 1st day of CNY, and spent a late night trying to upgrade. When all failed, decided to do the most evil thing computers would ask you to do, ERASE and install. So with a nice clean hard disk drive, I finally got spanking new Leopard into my computer. Then was the tedious task of getting all my stuff back to its original place, using my backup.

Then came da bomb. Leopard had an update, and my computer spent the whole afternoon downloading it. And 5mins into installation, the grey screen of terminal death came out.

My computer is dead. For the time being.
Until it comes back from repairs.

SIGH.

Questing

Trudging along with my quest. The goal is still out of site. But yah, the important, impossible task at hand. Must go through with it. MUST! Whether I like it or not.

My quest is impossible. Important. And really tiring. I don’t wanna do it anymore.

OUCH

I might quit disc. Don’t ask me why. Its not pleasant. Take a break, take up sky diving and hopefully i crash onto earth before its time to get back to disc. KILL ME SOMEONE.

Tired

Oh go away all you buggers. I wanna hide in my bed until everything is over.

Its always interesting conversation though. =)

How long can you hold on?

I started playing Ultimate once I got back from Vietnam. AC training on Friday, NUS training on Saturday, League on Sunday, AC training on Monday and today, NUS training. 5th day and still counting.

I can feel the fatigue, and the icky sour taste in your throat when you are just about to get a hacking dry cough together with a sore throat.

I get a break on Friday. Hanging on till then, for the wonderful game called Ultimate.

Keep running, keep running.

I am lazy to blog about everything. It has been a good year. Half of it spent in Austria, half spent back in Singapore. Some parts were messed up. Some parts were awesome. I think 2008 was the most dramatic year yet. Lets see how 2009 goes.
