The race halfway!

25 11 2008

Finally am halfway through my papers. 2 more to go. Also known as my very memory intensive papers. I will study really really hard from tomorrow onwards. But meanwhile, after my physio paper (which went decent compared to immuno) I took a nice break. Which meant going for AC training, and then dinner. But I guess I am really unconditioned. Just 1.5 weeks of not playing and look at the state I am in! Argh! So after wheezing and killing myself doing simple drills, my throws were just all over the place, and now that I am back homem I have a MASSIVE headache. One of the worst I have had by the way. Add onto the fact that my ITB is really feeling super tender (Inflammation!) Which means I am really getting too many problems for my own good. 2. I am really unfit. And lastly, I took ibuprofen before I am going to bed. It might the ONLY way I can sleep. My headache is really KILLING me.

Lack of sleep, unfit, injured, and suffering a excruciating headache. How nice. But I would gladly suffer now for my little bit of disc time than remain restless for the rest of the week.

Really must study hard tomorrow!

Saturday Night Fever

22 11 2008

Exam stress has FINALLY caught up with me. And its a bit too late. I think I am gonna do badly. Meanwhile, the exam stress is really playing tricks on me.

My mind is drifting to Europa again. Its bad.

The soft sands of Rimini…

21 11 2008

is calling out for me. The blue skies, the gentle lapping sounds of the waves on the infinite shoreline. The fireworks at the opening ceremony. The hippie disc tossing crowd. The raving parties. The unheated hotel with the oh-so-sweet owner. The gelato shop with Happy Hippo flavored gelato. The yummy seafood meals I had after half a year of pasta.

Ah. Paganello. When will I see you again, my far away love?

Reverse Psychology

Ever noticed that the more people should be studying, the more time they spend on Facebook/online/doing stuff other than studying?

17 11 2008

Its getting to me. I know it is. And its bugging me in more than just academics.

Stop playing tricks with my mind.

ARGH!

Nurturing Undead Students!

16 11 2008

Well! Their name says it all! Read the prospectus carefully. I am sure you will find things in-between the lines everyone doesn’t tell you about.

Since my last post…

14 11 2008

A lot has happened. Exams inched or rather sprinted closer. I lost my little baby, something which still is a source of pain now. Sigh. Its probably gonna be ages before I manage to get a new one. Whoever MORON out there who took it! I WILL TRACK YOU DOWN! GRRRR.

Sigh. And just got to know about this today. Hey kids. GROW UP. You do such horrible humiliating things to your friend. Imagine if it was done to you. And it doesn’t even look funny/nice/happy/dignified to the outsider. Stop tarnishing the school’s name. I sincerely hope there aren’t any MG girls among the bunch of bullies. I thought it was a pretty darn nice school and the people were nice. Apparently not. Its ratings just dropped like the stock market at the beginning of recession. You guys just let down generations of seniors who thought the world of their school.

Some people just remain idiots. There’s so much more other fun stuff to do out there. Bullying? Cheap thrill. Find something else more meaningful.

Disappointment at 5am in the morning is no good.

Sigh. A lot of things irking me now.

Grey

3 11 2008

Faded colour.

I WANT MY COLOURS BACK!

sigh.

Missing colour

1 11 2008

See the world in green and blue,

see China right in front of you,

see the canyons broken by cloud,

see the tuna fleets clearing the sea out,

see the Bedouin fires at night,

see the oil fields at first light,

and see the bird with a leaf in her mouth,

After the flood all the colours came out.

Nope. Don’t see all that. Everything is shades of grey now. Dull. Boring.   Colourless.
