Germany won against Austria!!!! 1-0! I have to say though, Germany has to do much better than that if they hope to win the Euro. But they are through to the next round and safe for now! Hurray!
Anyway, as expected, the big big match, Austria against Germany, well, Innsbruck started showing signs of madness for once. People were out with face paint, blowing horns, waving flags. Me, Baca and Maria went down to Marietheresianstraße and watched the game. Unfortunately, the big screens weren’t as big as one would expect. That was the worst thing. But the atmosphere was pretty good and its interesting to see all those crazy people cheering for Austria, when they are obviously gonna lose. Hehe. I am evil I know.
