2 pieces of good news today. 

I got an email from RedHat organizer, saying there will be a spot for me! Looks like all the begging and pulling strings and offers of beer has worked. Hurray! Mind you, I haven’t gotten a proper proper confirmation yet, but I shall trust his word on it, and that I will get a spot. And so today I am really happy, just the thought of being able to go for another tournament, esp a 3 day one, really really exciting. 

The 2nd piece of good news I just got, is I got my 5th A in Austria. Not bad for a minimum effort in addition to falling asleep in class half the time. I like to think I learnt stuff during class, and I guess the Prof agrees with me too! I have never gotten an A in NUS, so I am really glad for that. Not that I care that much about grades (never has, never will), but still, coming from someone who’s been tortured all her life in a stringent, strictly grades based education system and has not gotten a single A in the past 2 yrs, an A is always welcome! 

I should go to bed if I want another A for my Übung tomorrow!

Sidenote: I just reorganized all the ’souvenirs’ from all my trips. All the brochures, all the maps, all the train tickets, EVERYTHING (except miscellaneous receipts). Now everything is stored into neat envelopes, with the bigger items in a clear folder thingy. Everything before May except Innsbruck stuff is stored into a big ring file, while everything after May is in envelopes, labeled with the location, and date and tournament name for the tournaments. Its a lot of stuff. And just looking at it all, reminded me of how lucky I am able to travel. It brings back a lot of memories. From the madness of Carnival, to the amazingness that was Paga, the anger and frustration when traveling (Lizzy I still love you despite you driving me up the wall during our trips!), the sights I saw, the food I tried, the whole going-places experience. And also gives me a horrible heartache, coz I want to stay in Europe. I am glad I got it organized, coz once I get home, I will continue to work on my scrapbook, and stick/file everything properly, with comments and stuff.

I can’t believe its gonna be over soon.
