Trip planning

4 06 2008

When one embarks on a journey alone, it is usually tough and difficult and stressful. So far I have planned quite a bit of my trip. And it involves lots of money, lots of changes, and awesome time traveling.

1st I take the train from Innsbruck to Milan Malpensa airport, and take a flight to Barcelona. Spend a couple days there, and fly out from Barcelona to Istanbul. A few more days in Istanbul and I jetset off to Hannover and grab the next train to Marburg for the 4ferkel tournament. This bit is worrying, coz I haven’t heard from the 4ferkel organisers, ie. I don’t know if I have a team to play with. And its gonna be tough coz theres only 5 people in each team, meaning, not that many spots available. Anyway, if all goes well as I planned, from Marburg, I take a train to Berlin, overnight at either airport, or maybe some random person’s place, and then fly to Lisbon to visit Gabriel, former Flying Circus teammate. Lisbon is going to be 3 days I think. And then I fly to Geneva, and hopefully hitch a ride from any Geneveans and head to Sarnen for the RedHat tournament. Then I will probably hitch another ride to Zürich (it deserves a visit right? After I passed through so many times on the train) for a day or so and its back to Innsbruck to pack up one year’s worth of memories.

Add all that traveling and transport together, its probably hundreds of euros. Shhh don’t tell my mom.
