The weather in Venice was actually rather bad. It was wet and cold. Although it didn’t flood, it was pretty much being damp all the time. And so, on the last day, when the weather finally brightened up, it was a welcome relieve.
1st and foremost. Venetian food.

Amazing black squid ink pasta. With lots of squid too. Yummyness.

Romanian musicians playing on the main stage. Performances just for carnival.

They started dancing, and I noticed that they had tails.

A new twist to the Weather Girl.
Excuse the japanese tourist there. There was no way I could have gotten a photo without a random person standing next to the Weather Girl.
And finally! The pretty photos. The ones taken when the sun was out.

St Mark’s Basilica.

Cardinals patrolling their Piazza.

Palazzo Ducale di Venezia aka Doge’s Palace

After the brief walk into the Doge’s Palace (its pretty cool by the way. I totally recommend it.)
Back to Piazzo San Marco!
And the weather got nicer and nicer.

Pac-man was all out in force to get the ghosts.

The Basilica in all its glowy golden glory.
