I am quite disgusted and disappointed at the direction SgUlty is headed to. 1st, the poaching of players. 2nd, charging of membership fees. I suppose most other organizations elsewhere charges fees too. But its just the way that SgUlty is structured, that makes me feel like WHERE is all the money going to. The committee is already dodgy enough, consisting of the couple core clubs which I shall not name. But I am sure all you smart people out there know which ones I am talking about. But thats actually just a small thing.
I am worried the community will lose the SotG.
Club relations were already volatile.
Club dominance should not take precedence over the growth of the ultimate community.
I feel like, SgUlty sort of suddenly exploded. (Well, it can feel like that when you are thousands of km away and you get bad news.) And its just too small and not mature to handle matters yet. Ya granted Sg has some of the most efficient governments that has made the little island a 1st world country. But I don’t think that SgUlty should be governed by such strict similarity. Organizing something is never easy. But seeing Ultimate scenes elsewhere, makes me wonder whats going on. I don’t think the leadership is the best. I am not trying to say I could do better. But most of the people are made up of a certain group. And the rest of SgUlty, dislike it, but stays silent. A lot of background grumbling goes on of course. Just like typical Singaporeans.
Everything I knew in Sg has changed. And I don’t just mean Ultimate wise. There is probably nothing that I knew in Sg that isn’t going to turn around, bite and surprise me when I get back. It is a very scary prospect.
I want to stay in Europe.
