Lets just say I am a sucker for all things pretty and nice. And I happen to have a taste that is not really conducive for saving $$. My mommy is so gonna slaughter me at the end of the year. Other than that, nothing much happened today. So interesting observations to be made.
- The Swedish students eat more rice and asian food stuff than me
- Austrians REALLY sleep really early.
- I have multiple bruises while trying to maneuver/get on my bike.
- People get off work/school early on Friday just to shop/do whatever they like.
- Europeans like to drink. Period. Doesn’t matter beer or vodka or whatever. As long as its C2H6O.
- Austrian Post raised the price of postage overseas by 15¢ (to €1.40 per postcard/letter), which means that after this batch of posting stuff NO MORE.
- I see a lot of Chinese tourist in big groups, and Hong Kong tourists in small groups but no Singaporeans yet.
- I have not seen either of the Austrian students on my floor for 2 days o.O
- The early bird gets the cheap groceries.
- I might be headed to Oktoberfest. On my birthday. How exciting!
Saturday tomorrow! Gotta ride my bike to the HauptBahnhof (train station) which will be an adventure. And tomorrow should be a nice sunny day so I am looking forward to that. Hurray for days spent out in the sun!
