Ouch.

I just nearly managed to kill myself by drinking hot boiling water from my thermos. Anyway, I am succumbing to the cold bug =( I guess those 2 days of below 7 temperatures really caused me. Stuffed nose and everything. And worst is my cheeks feel achy coz my sinuses are probably infected too. But life has to go on even if I am sick right? So after yesterday’s failed attempt to buy stuff, I went back to IKEA today, and completed my shopping. This time, I actually wrote down every single thing I wanted to buy, and calculated exactly the amount of money I would need. And I withdraw enough to cover my purchases before I headed to the shopping centre. And thank God it has actually warmed up. Coz I had to walk all the way back from the University bus stop, and carrying a big crate of stuff. I cycled to take the bus, but I got a feeling if it was raining and it wasn’t warmer, I so would not be typing this now. Anyway, shopping always makes me happy =) Bought some stuff which I think will really help, like a really soft blankie, which I am wrapped in now, and its super duper warm. And also an additional pillow, coz yesterday I discovered just HOW cold my bed actually was. So I guess the extra stuff on the bed should help. And I bought some kitchen stuff too, like stuff to bake in. Its like cute cute rectangular ‘pots’ with a bigger pan set thingy. Ideal for me, coz I can split the portions, and take one out everytime I want to eat =) And this pair of really soft towel slippers which totally rock coz they are squishy and warm. (Those slippers cost more than a frying pan can you believe it?!?) 

Anyway, despite being sick, after I got back, I had to do laundry, and also go out again to retrieve my bike from the bus stop. And the weather was so nice for once that I went out with only 1 jacket, and I felt good enough to go for a spin in the Altstadt and buy a 90c green apple gelato. 

Did I mention that there is snow in the mountains? I keep forgetting to bring my camera which is a bummer. Next time next time! Snow capped mountains!

And last thing, Singapore Opens started today, or rather last night when I was rather miserable coz I was succumbing to cold. So exciting, Singapore Opens. And its the 2nd time I missed it for some reason or another. But I guess I will have tournaments here to go for too, like hopefully the gigantic one in Italy, the beach one. Anyway, best wishes to amanda banana and bang and leonard and alex and junyi (who has a really difficult job and I sympathize with him) and suli and ko and everyone else who is playing!

Gotta wake up for church tomorrow and I need a lot a lot of rest… so Ciao!
