It has NOT stopped raining since this morning. Its probably still raining as I speak but I am too lazy to go check. Anyway, I had to go to the Rathaus (its officially translated as city hall but its actually government services) to get my resident permit. What a hassle right? Silly Austrians. Its all EU anyway, so why do we have to do this kind of silly thing? Anyway, as I said, it didn’t stop raining. And I sort of woke up late (the cold froze me up when I was trying to get out of bed) so I had no choice but to cycle in the rain, coz I knew if I didn’t cycle, there was absolutely no way I could reach town in time (a lot of government services, and also school admin and banks, close at 12). Thus, I took out my supposedly winter jacket, which has 2 layers. Took out the inner layer, and wore only the outer layer which is waterproof. Waterproof it might be, it was still awfully wet. My jeans were quite wet, so was my hands which felt like they were plunged into a freezing ice bath. And I could hardly feel anything. Awful awful. I so need some kind of gloves or something. And the temperature only rose slightly during the day. Like morning it was 4, late afternoon it was 5, and evening it was 6. Freezing!
But anyway, despite the freezing rain I made it in time to get my permit, and after that, I did some shopping, coz I needed some kitchen stuff, and also I needed a soft shell breathable jacket and a REGENJACKE. Both I got on offer, the soft shell, I probably need it for skiing definitely, and the rain jacket is gonna come in SO handy in the following days. The weather forecast predicts a lot a lot of rain. Which is really horrible, coz its just more and more inconveniences for me. Oh wells, I guess after this, when I get back to SG I will be so tough! Like nothing can kill me kind. =P I do hope it stops raining soon though.
I am thankful for late night MSN conversations, and internet. I think I will die without them. Its time to sleep! Got more admin to do tomorrow again! Lights out!
