Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks unto the Holy One
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son
Thank God for my lovely pink bicycle, with it I can cycle all around the city and not take the darn bus. Went shopping a bit today, resisted buying any food except a lovely 2 kilos of nectarines which only costed a total of 3 sing dollars. So really really worth it and yummy yummy =) I also finally got those elastic band thingys I can use to strap things onto my bike, so things won’t fall out. This store, is pretty amazing, something like the $2 shops you get in Singapore, and things ARE cheaper than other places. And they are run by a bunch of hippies.
I feel rather injured today, with 2 major bruises (all blue and black and oh so painful!) and my hip has acted up again even though I only played Ultimate on Sat and very little bit on Sunday. Its irritating enough to act up when I walk, so thats a bummer. I went to the pharmacy, and thank God, I could get Voltaren without any prescription. Europe is funny, coz some of the medicine we can get anywhere, are restricted and can only be bought with a prescription. And anyway, I think Voltaren is slightly cheaper here than in SG so thats really good. Hope it helps my hip. But anyway, quite thankful that the sports shop was willing to change the bike light I bought, and also while I was there, saw this wonderful invention called a thermos flask. Since now, I can’t boil water in my room (totally sucks big time having a kettle and not being able to use it when and where you like), having this thermos is really gonna help me a lot a lot esp in winter and its freezing cold. It was on sale somemore, so this lovely SIGG 1l thermos is sitting on my shelf, ready to pour out a nice hot cup of whatever I want, milo, tea, anything!
Need to go IKEA really soon, to get more tupperware, boxes for my cupboard and my kitchen stuff. I am sort of irritated my roommate isn’t here still coz I can’t get any other furniture until she comes. And I do wanna get a shoe rack and other stuff to hang clothes. But okay, I guess it can wait. And I so ought to start planning my trip to Poland. Should be exciting.
